We don’t have the words for 2020, but we definitely have emotes
End the glitchiest year ever with two new collections of emotes.
Let’s be real, Twitch was even weirder than normal this year. That’s because 2020 went a little sideways. But, we kept having fun the only way Twitch knows how. Maybe you were a creator who stayed calm and kept their stream on. Or, maybe you raided chat and turned the party up on every channel. No matter how you left your mark, you helped make Twitch the best part of 2020.
That’s why we created two limited-edition collections of new emotes to help spread cheer and wrap up the last 366 days. From December 2nd at 2 PM PT to December 16th at 1:59 PM PT, you’ll be able to unlock permanent 2020-inspired emotes. When the clock strikes 2 PM PT on December 16th, a new collection of emotes will be available until January 4th at 11:59 PM PT. You can unwrap these emotes by cheering 300 bits or more, subscribing, or gifting a sub on any Affiliate or Partner channel. Now, you’ll finally be able to say exactly how you feel about 2020 by doing what you do best - spamming emotes designed by /Explosivo, /AndreaBarry, /Nanagadesign, and /YungKhan.
With these new end-of-year emotes, you’ll feel right at home in chat during our exclusive programming and highlighted front page creator streams. From cosplay to chess and everything in between, they’ll be bringing the hype to keep you entertained all season. Tune in for The Game Awards on December 10th, NFL Football on Twitch on December 26th (Simulcast subject to change), and celebrate NYE with us.
