Updates to Pulse: Your content reaches more viewers!
When Pulse launched a few months ago, you could share moments and updates — from hype events in your latest stream to memes from your chat — with all of your followers. Beginning today, on mobile and web, we’re expanding Pulse to also feature personalized recommendations of live streams, VODs, and Clips, so even viewers who don’t yet follow you can discover the content you’re already creating!
What does this mean for you?
For content recommendations, viewers who are not yet familiar with you may see your video, game, and title. We strongly encourage you to create a title that captures what the video is about and highlights your unique personality. These recommendations are based on follows, viewing history, and popularity, and viewers can react to videos that are recommended.
****Posts that you create from the dashboard remain important — they still appear on your channel feed and are distributed to your friends and followers on Pulse! Posting your stream highlights or sharing awesome clips your fans have made is a great way to engage with your community. Viewers are able to comment, reshare, and react to these posts.
Pulse appears for all viewers and creators on both mobile and web as part of the navigation changes announced in March. Learn more about how Pulse works here.
We’re excited to introduce your content to more viewers, and we’re just getting started. Stay tuned for more updates to Pulse as well as additional ways to help your stream reach the most relevant audiences! Please let us know what you think of Pulse here.
