ESL Brings IEM to San Jose’s SAP Center

Today, ESL proudly announced a new venue for the upcoming Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) tournament in December. IEM will invade the SAP Center in San Jose, California, home to the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League. Better known locally as the “Shark Tank”, the SAP Center seats 18,000 fans, making it the largest sports venue in IEM history. This event also marks the first standalone IEM event in North America.

From December 6–7, 2014, IEM will host League of Legends and StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm competitions inside the SAP Center. For those who cannot attend, all of the action will be live streamed on Twitch.
