Update on Twitch Service in Europe

We’re dedicated to improving Twitch quality of service globally — and in Europe in particular. As noted in our CEO’s Reddit AMA, we have been working on bringing up three new data centers in Europe. Here are the related time frames:

• Stockholm: Approximately 2–3 weeks to going live

• Paris, Prague, and an overhaul to Amsterdam: 6–8 weeks

In the meantime, continue to let us know if your Twitch experience is not optimal, and let your ISP know as well. Ask them to work with us directly. A face-to-face with your ISP is the best way for us to work with them to provide improved quality of service.
