Twitch-Enabled Games Now with Archives

Over the last several months, we’ve been working with some of the industry’s best game developers to integrate Twitch directly into their games and services. So far, that list includes EA (Origin), Activision (Call of Duty: Black Ops II), Sony Online Entertainment (Planetside 2), and Paradox Interactive (The Showdown Effect), with many more to come.

One of the most widely requested features for these integrations is the ability to archive your video, just as if you were broadcasting from PC or with a capture card. We’re proud to report that, starting today, you can now do exactly that.

Archving is now live in EA Origin, Planetside 2 and The Showdown Effect, with archiving coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops II in the very near future.
