New Feature: Redesigned Twitch Directory
The fast and the furious. It’s both a terrible movie and a perfect way to describe the pace at which our engineers are spitting out feature enhancements.
We recently launched an integration with Call of Duty: Black Ops II, and introduced Twitch Turbo (which you should totally go sign up for right now). Next up? A brand new redesigned Directory Page.
We’re working hard to make Twitch the best place to broadcast and view video game content. The redesign is meant to offer a user experience that matches the Channel Page Redesign (also see the channel page redesign update, update #2 and update #3), and make it faster and easier than ever to find and discover the videos you love.
The most significant new feature is the ability to browse Twitch videos (read VODs). And note that we were sure to retain the ability to browse channels randomly, so smaller channels still have a way to be discovered on-site. Go check it out!
Features of the new directory:
Fluid design offers a more flexible format to fit whatever screen you’re using.
Browse all games by most popular.
Browse channels by most popular, or explore randomly.
Browse videos by what’s popular this week, month, or all-time.
And of course you can still browse the channels that you follow.
